Britain at War Experience

Visit the Britain At War Experience and get in free with the London Pass! Normally the Experience costs £9.95, but as a London Pass holder you will avoid the queues and enjoy a longer stay at one of the top tourist attractions in one of London’s best museums.

The Winston Churchill Britain At War Experience at the London War Museum is an education for all ages, demonstrating through drama and wartime artefacts what life was like living in London during the Second World War. Lightshows and sound effects recreate the Blitz as seen from the point of view of ordinary Londoners.

Created with the National Curriculum in mind this London museum creates a vivid experience of life during wartime and provides essential information about the Second World War in general.

One of the leading museum attractions in Britain, the War Museum exhibition also allows visitors to enter a BBC radio studio where you can hear the actual words of influential figures from the period such as Winston Churchill, Adolf Hitler and Franklin D. Roosevelt.

This is just one of the fascinating and exciting London museums you can get into for free with the London Pass. While you’re in the London bridge area you could combine your visit to the British War Museum with a trip to the Bramah Tea and Coffee Museum, where pass holders are entitled to free entry and discount on afternoon tea.
